There are many restaurants and tavernas in Kefalonia which offer good basic fare. None of the dishes presented here was prepared specially for our photographer, who simply turned up unannounced one evening and photographed the food as it was taken to the tables.

And yet, Andromeda Centre manages to combine this high quality with reasonable prices, and the friendly, easy-going atmosphere that everyone associates with a typical Greek taverna.

Kostas, the chef and restaurateur, often comes into the restaurant for a chat and a joke with the diners, and Teresa combines her laid back Irish charm with efficient table service.

It must be this combination of excellent food, friendliness and efficiency that has led to Andromeda Centre becoming such a favourite of residents and tourists alike.
